Yup, works great. I just re-installed this. I started out by shutting down all my applications, and disconnecting from Sametime and AIM. Note that I have not yet connected the camera to the computer.
I then turned off my antivirus software and ran the 8.2 installer. At the end I had to reboot.
After coming back up, and logging in, then shutting down everything else, I went through the camera set-up wizard, and it worked fine. I then logged in to sametime connect and changed my settings to say I have a camera, mic and speakers. I then launched a test A/V meeting. Like last time, this didn't load properly the first time. After closing out IE, I then tried another test meeting, and this worked fine. I had to click on the icon across from the microphone (the one with the pencil in the hand) and select Logitech QuickCam 4000 Microphone as my audio source. I then closed out that test meeting, started another one, and the sound worked great.
Note that this is all with Lotus Instant Messaging 6.5.1, but I went through the same routine with a Windows 2000 laptop ans ST 3.1.
